Wait! I've remembered something I read a while back..... there are two couples, a mother and her lover, and her son and his wife. The mother is a sorceress, and so is the older man. The son goes into a mist covered castle and rings a bell and vanishes into the other realm. His mother follows, and they have a hard time in a castle where everyone becomes mice at night. Anyway, its a good one. You might be able to find it using that? If it sounds like what you need that is.
